Kundalini Yoga is known as the yoga of awareness, it's an ancient practice that helps you channel powerful energy and transform your life. I discovered Kundalini Yoga and Meditation in 2014 when I was sick with mercury poisoning and through the practice of this ancient yogic technology yoga I was able to detoxify and recover.
I teach Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan incorporating mantras, mudras, postures and breath work and infuse the classes with deeply relaxing gong meditations, drumming or sound bowls.
Teaching Kundalini Yoga to athletes, creatives, business people and those addressing health challenges especially interests me after seeing how it has supported and transformed their lives. I work with children (Kidalini!) and have a special interest in using the Kundalini Yoga technology with addiction.
I am a Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) certified Level One teacher, having trained with Satmukh Singh and Sat Sarbat from Europe and a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher for Children. I am also an alumna of the Ra Ma Institute for Applied Yogic Science after completing the Aquarian Business Academy, Parliament of Victory and Fundamentals of Teaching; Guru Jagat had a profound impact on my personal practice and my teaching style.
Mehtab Benton, Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Gong Master trained me in Gong Healing, his training is in the specific application of the gong according to the Kriya or Meditation we practice and I love his quote, " In sound we are born, in sound we are healed." I've been trained by some of the best teachers in their respective fields.
I manage two businesses, am a mother of two sons and have been graced with a magic black cat, Stella and a French Bulldog, Luna.
HOW DO THE PRIVATE SESSIONS WORK?
Whether you're a beginner or advanced practitioner you tell me your desired outcome and book two 90 minute sessions approximately six weeks apart (the cost covers the two 90 minute classes). We meet in person on the Gold Coast at my location (I charge travel time to come to you) or via Zoom. The classes incorporate posture, breath, mantra, meditation, and the powerful vibration of the Gong, allowing you to develop your meditative mind and have an expanded experience of health and happiness.
After the first session you may have a Kriya, mantra or meditation to practice for forty days and then we meet again for the second 90 minute session. If you wish to continue on with private classes we discuss and I encourage you to attend group classes before, during and after our private classes as well.
